A major player in the Medical Device Industry is looking for a promotable Project Design Engineer for their Southern California based facility. They are a leading supplier in their industry niche and are adding a new position which will have with a close relationship with the President. You will be tasked with developing new and innovative products using a variety of materials such as Plastics, Stainless Steel and Titanium. If you have a strong Design background and enjoy challenges this is a role that would put you front and center with both the Medical Community and upper management within this company and their multi-billion dollar parent company. They have been one of the most profitable companies on Wall Street since their founding. 

• Qualified candidates will have at least a BSME or equivalent and 5-7 years experience in design.
• Ideally candidates will have Medical Device design/project management experience but valued employees have come from the Toy Industry, Dental Industry and related Medical Device Manufacturers where Product Development timelines are short (typically less than 6 -12 months).
• You must be proficient in either Pro E or SolidWorks and have superior Presentation and Listening skills.
• You should have a diverse knowledge of materials. Any knowledge of FDA requirements is a plus.
